About District Market Detroit

UWM® District Market is Detroit’s newest food hall, with an industrial vibe & an array of casual eateries, plus a bar & coffee spot.

THE COFFEE HOUSE

The Coffee House specializes in four distinct styles of Ann Arbor’s own Zingerman’s Coffee: espresso, brewed, iced and blended (frozen). To complement artisan coffee drinks, The Coffee House sources handmade baked goods, including for breakfast sandwiches, from New Palace Bakery, a local bakery of Hamtramck, Michigan. The Coffee House also serves up irresistible sweets, including candy and gelato from Zingerman’s.

THE GARDEN

At The Garden, make your own salad with a variety of tantalizing, freshly cut and colorful ingredients, including three leafy green mixtures: baby spinach, romaine and mixed greens. For a power lunch, top your salad with chicken, shrimp or seared ahi tuna. On the move? Choose a fresh-blended protein smoothie, and try adding oats, acai or peanut butter. All fruits and vegetables are sourced from local Detroit producer Del Bene Produce. Del Bene Produce is located in Detroit’s Historic Eastern Market, less than two miles away.

HOMEMADE

Homemade offers made-to-order sandwiches alongside house-made soup selections. At Homemade, meats are sliced daily using a cherry-red, retro-style, Italian-made Berkel meat slicer – the ultimate in traditional deli quality. Meats are sourced from Detroit meat wholesaler Fairway Packing and local purveyor Quality Meats & Culinary Specialties, while local bakery Michigan Bread Bakery provides freshly baked sandwich bread. A variety of pastries from New Palace Bakery in Hamtramck, Michigan, are available daily. Sandwiches include signature chicken salad, pastrami, stacked Italian, fresh grilled chicken breast, vegetarian and more.

LA COCINA

La Cocina puts a modern spin on Mexican street food with tacos, burritos, bowls, and a house specialty, “walking tacos.” La Cocina offers four in-house protein selections: slow-braised carnitas, char-grilled carne asada, ancho chili marinated and grilled chicken, and seasoned Americano ground beef. Detroit’s Historic Eastern Market distributor, Vivio’s, produces bottled hot sauces to accompany any entrée. Top off your meal with house-made guacamole, salsa or queso, alongside crispy tortilla chips, and wash it all down with a Mexican Coke.

PATIO GRILL

Patio Grill specializes in local meats served hot off the grill, like signature wagyu Detroit-style Coney Dogs, and three styles of sausage produced by Michigan’s Dearborn Sausage Company: spicy Italian, Polish and bratwurst. For burgers, Patio Grill features a popular vegetarian item, the black bean vedge burger, as well as a shredded BBQ chicken sandwich, and the top-selling menu item, a classic cheeseburger. French fries are available traditional style, truffle or poutine. Patio Grill also serves up cheese curds, chicken tenders and soft serve ice cream.

THE BAR

The Bar offers a premium selection of local spirits, Michigan craft beer, tasty wines, frozen cocktails and more. The Bar is only open on event days at Little Caesars Arena. At The Bar, grab a drink as your gear up for the big game, or sip a cocktail as you wait for the event to begin. Stop by again at half-time. The Bar will quench your thirst and lift your spirits with drinks to please everyone from novice to connoisseur, including many with a local Michigan spin.
